THE CHARLATAN INK ART PRIZE 2011 NEW YORK 

Nikolaus Eberstallers work WE DON'T MIND has been selected to be in the Final of the 2011 Charlatan Ink Art Prize (USD 25.000 First Prize Money). The Finalists will be published in the New York Times and the Times. The Winner will be announced on 29th of September and until 15th of October all finalists will be exhibited in the iconic Manhattan Art Hotel Carlton Arms. An accompanying catalogue will also be edited.  

The Price will be held biennially in New York from 2011 onwards, but in an innovative twist will be traveling every other year around the globe. The 2012 Edition of the Charlatan Ink Art Prize Competition Exhibition will be held in Brisbane, Australia. Open to all Visual Artists Worldwide!

The Carlton Arms Hotel has become known as New York's art hotel due to its evolving conceptual art project. The "Artbreak Hotel" boasts some of the most striking quarters on Manhattan Island. With plenty of spirit and very basic conveniences, it's hallways, stairways, bathrooms and guest rooms explode with environmental art. As New York Newsday said "a riot of visual cacophony where up-and-coming artists from all over the globe take their talent to its walls. A live-in museum."
